Tata Chemicals suspends production at Haldia plant

Tata Chemicals on Friday said the production of complex fertilizers was being temporarily suspended at its Haldia plant in west Bengal due to emerging market conditions.

"With effect from June 19, the company has decided to supply Di-ammonium Phosphate to its customers from inventory in hand and imports and consequently production of complex fertilizers is being temporarily suspended at Haldia," it said in a regulatory filing to BSE.

Production of Single Super Phosphate remains unaffected, it said.
