A couple killed their three daughters and committed suicide in Telangana's Karimnagar district, the police said on Monday.
G. Komaraiah (36) and his wife Komaramma (34) strangulated their daughters to death before hanging themselves at their residence in Huzurabad area on Sunday night.
The shocking incident came to light on Monday when neighbours saw the bodies and alerted the police.
Locals said some relatives of Komaramma had assaulted Komaraiah on suspicion that he was practicing black magic.
The couple felt insulted over this and resorted to the extreme step after killing their children aged between six and 10 years.
