Three held for human trafficking, two girls rescued

Three people, including a woman, have been arrested for their involvement in human trafficking, while two girls from West Bengal were rescued, police said Tuesday.

Mashroof Khan alias Raju, 23, Pratap Chaudhary, 42, and his 37-year-old wife Neetu were arrested from west Delhi's Sagarpur area Dec 21.

Acting on a tip, police rescued a 16-year-old girl from a house in Sagarpur. She told police she was thrust into the flesh trade by the three people.

Following interrogation of the accused, another girl was rescued from Khureji in east Delhi.
