Three injured in US varsity shooting

At least three students were injured when a gunman opened fire at the library of the Florida State University Thursday, media reported. The gunman was later shot dead by campus officers.

The victims were admitted to a hospital where the condition of one was said to be critical, CNN reported citing hospital authorities.

"The shooting started shortly after midnight," said Mary Coburn, the vice-president of students affairs.
