A group of knife-wielding assailants attacked civilians Friday morning on a street in a Chinese city, killing three persons.
Three bodies were lying on the ground after the attack in Wujialing community in the northern part of Changsha city, capital China's Hunan province, Xinhua reported.
The site of the attack has been cordoned off.
The violence occurred near a food market.
A primary school close to the site has been closed and students have been kept back on the premises.
