Three people drown during idol immersion

Three people drowned in the Yamuna river during immersions of Lord Ganesha's idols here Wednesday, police said.

The incident occurred at Wazirabad Ghat in north Delhi, police said.

"Their bodies were fished out of water with the help of fire officials. We are trying to identify them," said a police officer.
