Three soldiers killed in Yemen bomb attack

At least three soldiers were killed and 12 injured Thursday in a bomb attack at a military base in Yemen, an official said.

"The blast occurred after an explosives-laden car struck the main gate of the First Military Region headquarters located in Seiyun town of Hadramout province," the official told Xinhua.

"The terrorist explosion targeted the troops and high-ranking army commanders inside the military base, causing casualties on the spot," the official added.
