Thus spake the PM in Ladakh

Thus spake Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Ladakh Tuesday:

* There was a time when prime ministers never visited this state. I have come here two times already. Your affection draws me here.

* Development must be such that it positively transforms the lives of the common people.

* Corruption is troubling us. People are angry. I assure that we will fight corruption and work with all those against corruption.

* There are also honest officers. We will work with them too. If we win the fight against corruption, we will win battle against poverty.

* Today, I am hearing the sound of claps, but when I came earlier, we heard the sound of guns.

 

* The neighbouring country (Pakistan) has lost the strength to fight a conventional war, but continues to engage in the proxy war of terrorism.

* We want to make jobs available for the youth. We want educational institutions for the youth.

* We are interested in development and taking everyone together towards development.
