Top five celebrity makeovers

Some chose to cut flab and others tried new hair-dos. The year 2013 saw many celebrity makeovers.

Usmagazine.com listed the best celebrity makeovers of the year:

* Christina Aguilera: "The Voice" coach flaunted her trimmed-down physique at various Hollywood events. Her weight loss was accompanied by more sophisticated beauty looks and fashion choices on the red carpet.

* Miranda Lambert: The "White Liar" singer was also seen in a slimmer figure at a music awards ceremony. She gave credit to her diet and personal trainer for her new body size.

* Kim Kardashian: The socialite underwent a significant body, style and beauty transformation in 2013. The new mom went blonde again and also sported multiple cleavage-baring designer looks.

 

* Jennifer Lawrence: The actress chopped off her hair. She rocked a short pixie cut recently.

* Brad Pitt: He also cut his long locks and shaved his beard this year.
