CPI-M legislator and senior tribal leader Naresh Chandra Jamatia will be inducted in the Left Front ministry next week, an official release said here Wednesday.
"Naresh Chandra Jamatia, 55, will be inducted in place of industries and commerce minister Jitendra Chowdhury, who was elected to the Lok Sabha from the Tripura East parliamentary constituency in the recent polls," the release said.
Chowdhury, who was a minister in the Left Front ministry since 1993, Tuesday submitted his resignation to Chief Minister Manik Sarkar.
