Trinamool wins five out of six assembly by-polls

West Bengal's ruling Trinamool Congress won five of the six assembly seats Friday where by-polls were held sumultaneouslyw ith the Lok Sabha elections.

The Trinamool candidates bagged Chakdaha, Galsi, Kotulpur, Maynaguri and Santipur, while Left Front constituent, the Revolutionary Socialist Party, tasted victory in Kumargram cosntituency.
