Truck crash kills three in Netherlands

At least three people were killed and 18 injured when a truck crashed into a crowd during a motor sport event in The Netherlands.

The incident took place Sunday in Haaksbergen town, Xinhua reported.

According to Haaksbergen Mayor Hans Gerritsen, the victims include a child.

Out of the 18, six were seriously injured.

The driver of the truck has been detained and a probe has been launched into the accident, police said.
