Two die in Delhi road accident

Two persons died in a road accident here on Monday, police said.

The accident occurred in the Mahipalpur area of south Delhi and only one victim has been identified so far, Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police Chinmoy Biswal told IANS.

"It looks like a road accident, but we haven't found any eyewitnesses yet," the officer said.

He said that it remains a mystery that no two-wheeler was found at the spot even though they found helmets.

On Monday morning police received a phone call about two persons lying unconscious on the road. Upon reaching there, both were found dead with fatal injuries, Biswal said. Their helmets and a bag were also found at the spot.

 

The officer said they are yet to figure out how the accident happened.
