Two killed in house collapse in Andhra

A woman and her grandson were killed and three injured when an old house collapsed in Andhra Pradesh's Guntur town on Tuesday, police said.

The building, which had weakened due to incessant rains for the last two days, caved in early Tuesday.

Anjamma, 70, and her three-year-old grandson Pradeep were killed. Three other family members were injured and they have been admitted to a hospital.

Senior police and officials visited the spot.
