Gunmen fire at Wasim Akram's car in Karachi, speedster escapes unhurt
The ex-Pakistan captain was on his way to the National Stadium

Unidentified gunmen opened fire at former Pakistan skipper and pace legend Wasim Akram here on Wednesday. Luckily the ex-cricketer has survived the assassination attempt.
Wasim was travelling from his home to the National Stadium. The attack took place on Shah Faisal Road near Karsaaz.
The motive behind the is still unclear. Wasim recently took up a bowling assignment with the Pakistan Cricket Board.
