Global consultancy, White Page International, on Monday announced the most-admired Indian brands of 2016, featuring Boroline, Mahindra Scorpio, ThumsUp, IndiGo, Royal Enfield, Frooti and Dolo-650, among others, in various categories.
The 50 most-admired Indian brands and leaders, with a similar listing of 100 for Asia, have also been featured in a coffee table book, which traces their journey and will be released soon, the company said in a statement.
"At White Page, we resonate the expressions of strategy and creative excellence. I'm pleased to present our latest brand expression, most admired brands and leaders -- an elucidation of the best of the best brands in Asia," said Dhruv Bhatia, editor-in-chief of White Page.
The Asian listing is based on a research of 100 Brands across 25 categories from 16 countries. The research was conducted on an initial list of 2,000 brands, said the consultancy.
"Brands like Emirates Airlines, DBS Bank, Max life Insurance, HDFC Bank, TVS Jupiter and Apache, VIP Frenchie, BilCare GCS, PL India, Adani Wilmer's Fortune, Cargill Indda's Gemini, Leonardo Olive Oil, Nature fresh and Rath have made it to the 100 list," it said.
The jury panel was led by chief patron Malcolm McDonald, who is the chairman of Malcolm McDonald International and former chair of Brand Finance, and included Ashish Bhasin of Dentsu Aegis and Sunil Lulla of Grey Group.
