Winter Olympics: Frenchman Valtier wins snowboard cross
Frenchman Pierre Vaultier overcame bad weather to win the Winter Olympic men's snowboard cross race Tuesday.
The 26-year-old overcame local favourite Nikolay Olyunin for the gold, reports Xinhua.
Olyunin had to settle for the silver and American Alex Deibold took the bronze.
