Woman sets self, two kids ablaze

Denied permission by her husband to visit her brothers on Raksha Bandhan, a pregnant woman in Fatehabad town near here doused herself and her two children with kerosene and lit a match, killing all three, police said Thursday.

A Fatehabad police officer said the charred bodies of Sudama (27) and her two children - Nisha (4) and Karishma (2) - were found early Thursday in their house in Bilaipura village of Nibhora area, 30 km from Agra.

Sudama's husband Devendra is a labourer. Police have called Sudama's parents from Pinahat town.
