A dog's life in Parliament

The sniffer dogs working within the precincts of Parliament can be considered a privileged breed if a recent tender from the Lok Sabha secretariat is anything to go by. It lists 21 items, the bulk of them utility items that any pet-owner will recognise: blankets, durries, towels, collars and muzzles. But there are several other items - combs, brushes and other grooming items, rubber balls and even rubber bones - that redefine the term "it's a dog's life".
