A Dussehra for the times
At one such location in Delhi, an effigy of "Pakistan" was burnt

On the occasion of Dussehra this year, apart from effigies of Ravan, Kumbhakarna and Meghnad that were burnt to mark the victory of good over evil, some places worshipped Ravan; one group even organised Ravan-leela.
At one such location in Delhi, an effigy of "Pakistan" was burnt. At another place, the effigies were of chikungunya, dengue and malaria. Cities in north India have battled a scourge of these diseases this monsoon.
