Not far behind is the media team of Power Minister Piyush Goyal. Journalists are regularly advised to watch Lok Sabha or Rajya Sabha TV whenever the minister is expected to reply to parliamentary debates. Though journalists may appreciate the idea so that they don't miss stories, this assiduous messaging fits oddly with the low-profile media presence that the gag orders were supposed to maintain. Bad news may be good news for the media but for the government, good news - no matter how inane - seems to be the order of the day.
