AirAsia's train of thought

Image

Business Standard New Delhi
AirAsia has taken its announcement that it will woo train travellers with fares of less than Rs 1,000 pretty seriously. Responding to a suggestion from a consumer who follows its CEO Mittu Chandilya's Twitter account, it has started putting billboards at railway stations with a catchy blurb "Say Goodbye to Overnight Train Travel". The billboard also gives details of its flights from Bangalore to Kochi, Goa, Chennai, Chandigarh and Jaipur. It also acknowledges @sourabindu, who had volunteered the idea.
