Should the Chief Justice of India (CJI) go to a private party hosted by former law and justice minister Ashwani Kumar, who had to quit because of the coal scam? Also present at the event was Vice-President Mohammad Hamid Ansari, the chief guest, who sat next to former Haryana chief minister and Congress leader Bhupinder Singh Hooda, who in turn sat next to the CJI, and was often seen holding his hand. Former prime minister Manmohan Singh also attended the event.
