From tea to cow

Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia has accused the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP)-led National Democratic Alliance government of moving from chai pe charcha to gai (cow) pe charcha. Addressing Youth Congress workers at New Delhi's Jantar Mantar on Monday, Scindia said the BJP had created an atmosphere of intolerance and it was up to the Congress to rid the country of it. He urged Prime Minster Narendra Modi to break his silence on the issue. The police had to use water cannons to disperse the gathering.
