The Bharatiya Janata Party-led National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA’s) nominee for Vice-President, Jaswant Singh, is talking to leaders of different political parties for their support in the upcoming election, which has become a crucial battle between the ruling United Progressive Alliance (UPA) and the Opposition. When Singh called Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar for a good time to meet him, Kumar offered to personally come to Delhi and see him. Kumar said Singh should not trouble himself by planning a visit to Patna.
