Greetings diplomacy

Prime Minister Narendra Modi engaged West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee in an interesting Twitter exchange on an even more interesting offline exchange of greetings. It appears they exchanged new year greetings in their mother tongues. Modi tweeted: "Received very touching New Year greetings from @MamataOfficial-ji and that too in Gujarati! I thank Mamata Didi and wish her a great 2016." Soon, Banerjee tweeted: "Glad you liked the New Year greetings I sent you in Gujarati. Thanks too @narendramodi-ji for the greetings you sent me in Bengali."
