Gupta's Satyam rescue

According to Corporate Affairs Minister Prem Chand Gupta, the “real task” to be done to revive Satyam is to conduct smoothly the process of allowing other companies to buy its stake. Gupta said he held consultations with the top political leadership of the ruling alliance for his plan. “I have already spoken to UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi and Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee. Both of them have agreed to my plan.” Gupta told reporters that a global tender would be opened “very soon”.
