Head to head

As in most Tata company AGMs these days, shareholders of Tata Motors expressed uneasiness about the person who would succeed Ratan Tata as chairman of group holding company Tata Sons. Tired of addressing the “succession” issue, Tata told them half-jokingly, “I hope you don’t see the new person with the same kind of apprehension as you did with me. The committee is searching for a replacement and I am sure they will find it. I should also get a chance to sit among you and ask questions.”
