The $13-billion deal between Indian conglomerate Essar and Russian oil major Rosneft made headlines. Essar sold its oil assets under the deal. This was followed by newspaper advertisements on the deal by Essar.

Harsh Goenka, chairman of RPG Enterprises, tweeted: "Earlier, selling a business was considered blasphemy. Now you sell a business and give a full page ad."
