India Inc to the rescue?

Corporate houses in Chhattisgarh are in a state of shock. Not for any “corporate” issue but because they learnt of their role in curbing the Naxalite menace in the state. Inaugurating a function in Raipur, Lok Sabha Speaker Meira Kumar suggested that the government should take the help of corporate houses in curbing the insurgency unleashed by the radical Left group. Kumar, however, did not elaborate on how these companies could find a solution that eluded both the Centre and state government for years. Senior executives are now anxiously awaiting the parameters of their new role.
