'Infidel' travel enquiry

Image

Business Standard New Delhi
A day after Bharatiya Janata Party leader Giriraj Singh said Narendra Modi critics can quit India and go to Pakistan, a travel portal received a tongue-in-cheek "group enquiry" on Twitter about "infidel" travel packages, for criticising Modi, to our north-western neighbour. To give it credit, MakeMyTrip.com rose to the occasion and responded in similar vein that these packages were overbooked and business had been good following Giriraj's statement and that the company was thinking of operating charter services to Pakistan. Not surprisingly, the tweet quickly went viral.
