Letters: Maruti recall

It is important to keep some perspective on the recall of a lakh cars by Maruti Suzuki. The ultimate cost of the recall will be quite small. Also, while it shows there was a problem in the production process, it indicates the quality-check process is working. Maruti did well to recall the cars, though, as its Chairman RC Bhargava has said, the company slipped up by not making the recall decision public.
