Jairam Ramesh’s article “Recalling Abid Hussain (June 27) was deeply moving. One wished Mr Hussain had been given a greater role in the country’s economic affairs. A great economist and a fine human being indeed, Mr Hussain will be missed by all. It’s a pity that both the print and electronic media failed to report this huge loss to our country adequately.
