Making the cut

All govt departments have been asked to reduce no of copies of annual reports by at least 50%

The government is so serious about expenditure cuts that even the smallest item has not been spared the cut. All government departments have been asked to reduce the number of copies of annual reports (for both ministries and departments) by at least 50 per cent and make the soft copies more prominent on their websites so that people who are interested can easily access the reports.
