Modi, 'events manager' again

The Congress is getting exceedingly frustrated as Narendra Modi appears to be going from strength to strength in the media war of perception. After a series of "successes" beginning with the visits to Bhutan, Nepal and Japan, the Chinese premier's visit, the interview to Fareed Zakaria CNN International, and then the launch of the Make in India campaign, when Modi dominated the headlines ahead of his US visit, Congress was casting for ways to puncture these claims. So it was an acerbic Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma who said, "L K Advani being his mentor, Shri Narendra Modi is honouring his [Advani's] words and living up to it. He is a successful event manager." It may be recalled, that the senior Bharatiya Janata Party leader had created quite a furore when he had described "Narendra bhai" as a "brilliant events manager" earlier this year.
