A journalist who requested Road Transport and Highways Minister Kamal Nath to give accredited journalists concessions on toll charges at the Economic Editors’ conference was given this blunt reply: “You write good things about us and send me the copy of your story and we will send you a refund of the toll you would have paid.” We assume he was joking.
