In Delhi, the Bharatiya Janata Party has asked its councillors to sell onions at "affordable prices" but the canteen in the party's central office isn't ready to wait. The canteen, which serves both senior leaders and party workers, has stopped using onion in its food. Reason: the canteen managers are unable to maintain their budgets and the party isn't willing to revise rates.
