Don't grudge a dyed-in-the-wool politician his moment of creative licence.
Credited with introducing a plethora of mobile applications and websites aimed at transparency and better public interface, Piyush Goyal, minister of state for coal, power, mines and new and renewable energy, could not help telling his audience at an event in Delhi that no government -"since Independence" - had been able to organise all government documentation online.
In his exuberance Goyal glossed over the fact that there was no internet till about four decades ago.
