Right on cue

Veteran actor Anupam Kher, who was in Delhi to host a Nestle launch, was clearly unhappy at the muted response from the audience when he walked on stage. He observed with some mock irony that the audience comprised Nestle’s guests and the press and the press never applauded. This time the audience took the hint and applauded again — and much more loudly too.
