Smriti's woes

Much like the ratings of her saas-bahu TV serials, Smriti Irani’s clout in the BJP appears to be dwindling. No longer is she one of the most sought-after campaigners for the Lok Sabha elections. On the top of it, the BJP has not been able to locate a safe seat for her. However, the party brass, smitten by Irani’s capabilities, are sure she will be sent to Parliament through the Rajya Sabha.
