Never one to miss a good opportunity, Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal turned his speech at the Bengal Global Business Summit in Kolkata into a pitch to hard-sell his state as an investment destination.
He claimed that he had reduced the time for clearances needed to host an event in Delhi from three to four months to just 20 minutes and went on to promise several sops, including a cut in the rates of value-added tax and procedural simplification, for potential investors in Delhi. "You tell me what the problems are and I will solve them," he said.
