The senior-most leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party L K Advani may have led many campaigns for his party but the parliamentarian is still not confident about his oratory skills. At his 85th birthday celebrations on November 8, he admitted to secretly being jealous of good friend and former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee’s public-speaking abilities. “I tell Sushma Swaraj that I am jealous of her. I have often told her this, but I still can’t understand how Vajpayee used to be so good at public speaking,” Advani said.
