Bharatiya Janata Party chief Amit Shah on Wednesday found the auditorium of the Nehru Memorial Museum and Library, once the official residence of India's first prime minister Jawaharlal Nehru, a suitable place to lash out at his legacy.
Inaugurating an exhibition on the life and times of Bharatiya Jan Sangh founder Syama Prasad Mookerjee, Shah blamed Nehru for committing a "historic blunder" on Kashmir by referring the issue to the United Nations. He also accused the Congress leadership of that time for accepting India's Partition on the basis of religion.
