Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad has accused Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar of squandering public money to mobilise crowds for his Vikas Samiksha Yatra (development review tour) currently underway.
Prasad says he has proof in the form of a note purportedly from Braj Kishore Pathak, officer on special duty, to Jeevika (Bihar rural livelihood promotion society) district coordinators that said physically fit women older than 60 and children younger than 15 should not be brought to the meetings. Prasad said the letter is proof that government is “sponsoring” participants.
