Yeddyurappa visits astrologers

The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) central leadership might have thought Karnataka Chief Minister B S Yeddyurappa was buying time by delaying his resignation to July 31 afternoon, but people close to him suggested he had been consulting astrologers and Lingayat community mutt leaders, who had told him his political career would see a favourable period after July 30.
