50% voting in Nepal polls till 1 p.m.

50% of the electorate had cast their votes till 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Constituent Assembly polls, the Election Commission was quoted as saying.

At 60%, the voting has been the in Kavre while the the lowest was in Mustang at 22%, Nepalnews.com cited the election commission as saying.

The voting process is underway peacefully in the majority of polling stations, the report added.
