Growing differences within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leadership in Delhi has the party's central leadership worried, even as it admits defeating three-time Delhi Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in the Assembly elections wouldn't be an easy task.
The problem started after Vijay Goel was appointed Delhi BJP president by Rajnath Singh, the party's national president, in February. While former BJP president Nitin Gadkari had favoured Harsh Vardhan for the post of the party's Delhi unit chief, this wasn't possible after Gadkari lost the race to become BJP national president to Singh.
