Ambuja Cements sales up 4% in Dec

Ambuja Cements psoted an increase over 4 per cent in sales in the month of December at 17.29 lakh tonnes. 

The company had sold 16.62 lakh tonnes of cement in December 2008, Ambuja Cements said in a press release. 

Cement production also increased to 17.37 lakh tonnes during the last month, as compared to 16.28 lakh tonnes in the year-ago period.
