The initial joint offering addresses the overwhelming customer demand for critical service desk function and processes delivered via the cloud.
Standing together on stage at Dreamforce 2009, salesforce.com Chairman and CEO Marc Benioff and BMC Chairman and Chief Executive Bob Beauchamp discussed the new cloud-based service desk offering, designed for customers looking for strong IT-business integration and rapid time-to-value. Leveraging BMCs industry-leading expertise, the core functionality of BMC Service Desk Express, and the trusted and scalable Force.com platform, BMC Service Desk Express on Force.com will deliver cloud-enabled service desk, self-service and inventory management capabilities.
