Nasdaq Omx Group felicitates India on Independence Day

Ambassador Prabhu Dayal, Consul General of India in New York, visited the NASDAQ MarketSite and presided over the NASDAQ Closing Bell on Friday, August 14, 2009 on the eve of Indian Independence Day. He was joined by Brad Vopni, Head of Global Software Development at NASDAQ OMX and executives from NASDAQ's listed companies in India.

The NASDAQ OMX Group has increased its presence in India, which continues to be a promising country on its way to becoming a global powerhouse.
